Experience From the Learner to the System

Brenda’s career spans more than three decades of educational leadership across Texas, California, and Arizona, including district-level leadership in literacy, intervention, curriculum, assessment, professional learning, federal programs, and school improvement.

She served on the leadership team implementing a $1.8 million federally funded Early Reading First initiative and has worked with district leaders, administrators,
educators, specialists, families, and organizations to strengthen teaching and learning.

Today, that experience is combined with the cognitive and academic approach developed through Mind Discovery—creating a perspective that reaches from the individual learner to the educational system supporting them.
