Mind Discovery specializes in learning challenges such as dyslexia, ADHD, Executive Function, Auditory and Visual Processing Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders and more.

Our Mind Discovery in-center educational therapy program in Weatherford, Texas is for students 6yrs old – 17yrs old. Students will be in-center twice a week for one hour intervals, with our team of certified teachers and practitioners of Structure of Intellect and Integrated Practice Protocol.

Graduates of Mind Discovery can expect to experience lasting solutions to success which help them master particular concepts related to reading, writing, math, vision
and focus.

To get started in our Mind Discovery In-Center program, we first begin by providing a comprehensive assessment designed to uncover your child’s unique learning profile, identify strengths and challenges, and guide practical interventions.

We offer a full cognitive and academic assessment, that is a comprehensive battery of assessments to evaluate your Childs visual, auditory, and sensorimotor systems.

Families receive a detailed report highlighting cognitive, academic, and sensorimotor strengths and challenges, along with practical strategies and recommended programs individualized to your childs needs.

After the assessment, the child will enter the integration phase where our certified teachers and practitioners will work with your child in-center. The integration phase is the most crucial phase of our brain training process as it’s designed to enhance and increase cognition through neuroplasticity.

Through this phase, we integrate the senses by combining the visual (EYES), auditory (EARS), and sensorimotor (BODY) systems throughout our brain training educational therapy program. This phase is complete once the student scores reach a specific level. They cannot move on to the next phase until they pass this phase.

Typically about halfway through the 16-18week program, the child completes the integration phase and moves into the final phase remediation. This is where we incorporate our Mind Discovery curriculum which helps students overcome their specific learning challenges. During this phase they will still receive their customized brain training program in addition to the Mind Discovery curriculum.

Homework will also be assigned and is a crucial part of our educational program. We urge parents to ensure the completion of the homework to get the best results.
