I’m a teacher and my own son was struggling with learning. This place is the most incredible life changing place for kids with learning difficulties (ADHD, visual processing, auditory processing, Spectrum disabilities, etc…). This is NOT a typical tutoring center. This uses state of the art brain research to improve your child’s ability to process and use the areas of their brain that are causing them to struggle. And the end goal is to completely heal that area of the brain so they no longer struggle using a combination of specific physical movement and educational practices. It’s worth EVERY penny to ensure you’re child won’t struggle all through school and can be successful all the way through college. I can’t recommend them enough and as a teacher wish every child struggling in school could have access to this program because it not only works – it is a miracle as far as what I’ve seen! Go for a free tour and meet the owner Brenda, a former teacher and reading specialist, who is the kindest and most knowledgeable person. She’ll make beyond a difference in your child’s life!! 🙂

My daughter (age 8) has been going to mind discovery since March 2017. We came to mind discovery with help in reading and writing. She was scoring 2 grades behind in those subjects. Since working with this SOI program here, we have noticed an improvement in her abilities in both subjects and well as her decision making as a whole. She loves the staff, as do I. A very friendly working environment. I also have learned a lot about the developing brain and understand the learning curve for children myself. I highly recommend this place and their staff.

My 2nd grader has been coming here for a couple months and has improved so much. He is much more focused and his comprehension is improving everyday. The staff is very welcoming and informative. I would recommend bringing your kids here if they need a little bit of help. They are amazing.

The team at Mind Discovery made a huge difference in my life! Their attention to detail and care for me personally is unmatched! I am also very thankful for how much they have helped the son of one of my close friends. The difference in him now as to when he began is nothing short of a miracle..

Mind Discovery met and exceeded our expectations for our daughter for her senior year. Our goal was to raise SAT scores for our daughter’s goal of attending college for a degree focused on her interests and strengths. Within 6 months at Mind Discovery, she had raised her score by 100 points. We are still waiting on spring results. After being diagnosed with dyslexia, visual processing, reading, and math disorders in 6th grade, we had sought support in the past from Mathnasium, one on one tutoring, and accommodations through her school. The difference with Mind Discovery is the informative initial assessment, the tracking of progress, an individualized plan, both at home and in person integration of both learning, primitive reflexes of the body, visual processing, utilizing each child’s unique strengths, and most importantly building confidence. The owner’s personal story of overcoming physical and learning hurdles is inspiring to the students and her extensive background in education with continued certifications to launch Mind Discovery bring hope to parents of children who have struggled throughout their education journey. I am personally the owner of a large group play therapy practice and our staff will continue to refer to Mind Discovery.
